Asus Elantech Touchpad Driver Windows 10
Updated this morning. This Elan touchpad driver keeps coming in through windows u. I am on an Asus G750J laptop. Thanks for any help.
I have a odd question to ask for all the new owners out there first off i prefer to play games with just the keyboard and mouse no external or anything like that can someone confirm that if you play a game a fps lets say dead space can you use the right and left buttons at the same time? Like to aim and shoot? I'm asking because I've had the chance to use one of the older models and the thing was the touch pad driver would not let you click both buttons simultaneously is this still an issue?
Ahh a post that ive been having issues with but i can help you guys out. Unfortunalty with this workaround you will lose a little bit of functionality and ill explain. I also enjoy playing with just the keyboard and touchpad and i had the same problem as you when i first got this computer. What i did to make both the buttons work again is i removed the elantech drivers and i installed the latest synaptics driver. You will regain the ability to use both of the buttons at the same time. Unfortunatly and i havent figured out a fix yet you will lose your gesture functionality like 2 finger scroll and pinch zoom.
I hope this helps you out. Guys, this has been an issue in the past for various Asus Smart Gesture annoyances, the solution has been to uninstall Asus Smart Gesture and install the latest Elantech driver you can find (not Synaptics), unfortunately Elantech doesn't host that driver directly, you have to find another OEM and download from their laptop support.
Asus actually has a download area for Elantech drivers, but their drivers aren't as new as you can find from another laptop OEM. Here is the Asus site, upload dates are recent, 11/10/14 - Version V11.5.12.5 Acer has a newer release - 11.6.27.201 12/05/14 - download area. I just tested that acer driver and it still stuffers from that issue where you cant use both buttons at the same time. Also ive always noticed elantech drivers have a really weird acceleration Boom_austin, given that it is an Elantech device, I would complain to Elantech and Asus about their software implementation not allowing using both buttons, and the Synaptics driver that allows it on the Elantech device shows it is possible.
Linksys wireless g pci adapter driver windows 10. This seems like a basic need that should be allowed, I can't believe it is still a thing, but it has been a problem for years without resolution: Googling this issue (binging too) produces lots of complaints, but no solutions, except uninstall the Elantech / Asus Gesture drivers - did you try that instead of installing the Synaptics driver?
Hi I'm a Dreamspark Premium member so I can already upgrade to Windows 8 for free. I installed it earlier this week and I love it. My Asus X53Sv works fine on Windows 8 except for two things: 1.
The function keys They actually work. But it could be better. Windows 8 shows a nice little popup when you press the volume keys on a keyboard. It works when I connect my Logitech USB keyboard but the popup doesn't show up when I use the volume keys (with Fn) on my notebook. In the metro interface I don't see anything and in the desktop interface I see the same popup as in Windows 7. Pokemon pc downloads.
