2007 Toyota Camry Sun Visor Driver Side Recall
2007 to 2011 - Camry Sunvisor US Built - without sunroof color: Gray or Ash - color code: location: Left Hand - DRIVER SIDE.
I love all three of my Toyota's. However I am a little disappointed at the quality of the interior on my 2007 Camry. My driver side visor fell down (making it hard to drive because of my height). When I took it to the dealership they informed me that I was just outside the extended warranty for this repair and it would be over $100 for the repair (I just removed the visor). Then I received the notice on the melting dashboard last spring. I have contacted the dealership four or five times because my Camry has this issue. Bendy and the ink machine all chapters free download. Their response was always we don't have any in stock yet.
Finally last week the parts person agreed to order me one and it should be in about six weeks (thank you recognizing this problem). Now yesterday my passenger side visor has started falling down (again blocking my view when looking out my right side of the car). I will now have to remove my passenger visor like I had to on the driver side just so I can drive the car. I would appreciate it if Toyota would look at this as a safety issue for a tall person like myself. I truly enjoy all my Toyota's but have to think twice before buying another Camry.
Mechanically this car has been great and only have eighty five thousand miles on it. After my post from last friday, I contacted my dealer and they said that my VIN doesn't fall in this recall range and I should pay it by myself. The cost they quoted was $161 + taxes. I came back to check DIY videos for fixing it. But Parallely I did sent a mail to Toyota itself. You know what, they called me back on Sunday and said that they would fix this for me.
They spoke to my dealer after getting the contacts from me and responded back saying that toyota will take the parts cost and the dealer will take the labour costs for this fix. The dealer has now placed the order for this parts. 'TOYOTA' is a registered trademarks of Toyota Motor Corporation.

2007 TOYOTA CAMRY Recalls (10) Campaign: 06V096000 on Component: Air bags Manufactured: - Affected: 133 Defect: On certain vehicles, due to improper assembly of the air bag inflator, which is used in the side air bag, the curtain shield air bag, and the knee air bag assembly, some inflators were produced with an insufficient amount of the heating agents necessary for proper air bag deployment. In this condition, the expansion force of the gas may be insufficient to properly inflate the air bag when the srs system is activated during a crash. Consequence: This may increase the risk of injury to the occupant in the involved seating position in the event of a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the specific srs air bag. The recall began on april 6, 2006. Owners may contact toyota at 1-888-270-9371, scion at 1-866-548-1851, or lexus at 1-800-255-3987.
Notes: Toyota recall no. 60b and lexus recall no. 6lb.customers may contact the national highway traffic safety administration's vehicle safety hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (tty: 1-800-424-9153); or go to Campaign: 07E082000 on Component: Equipment Affected: 55,000 Defect: Certain all weather floor mats (awfm) specifically sold as an optional accessory for use on the 2007 and 2008 model year lexus es350 and toyota camry vehicles. The awfm includes two grommet holes and retaining hooks (clips) to secure the mat to the vehicle's carpet.
If the awfm is not secured by itself or if it is placed on top of an existing carpeting floor mat, the mat could move forward during the vehicle usage and it may interfere with the accelerator pedal. Consequence: The accelerator pedal may temporarily become stuck in a partially depressed position when returning to the idle position. If this condition occurs, it may increase the possibility of a crash. Correction: Toyota will notify owners of all 2007 and 2008 lexus es350 and toyota camry vehicles about the recall even though not all of these owners will have purchased the all weather mats. If the owner had not purchased the mats, they are not affected by the recall. This letter will advise owners when replacement mats will be available or how to return the all weather floor mat set to obtain a refund. A second letter will be sent after mats are available requesting owners to return their mats to a lexus or toyota dealer for exchange of the driver's side mat. Geostorm 2017 download.
