+ Great club/ - Condition Scotafella After playing with a friends Taylor Made R11 Driver in Florida (when i had to borrow clubs) on a recent holiday, i thought i'd found the club i'd always been looking for. From the off it felt right in every way.
So after returning to England i looked everywhere to try and find this club to add to my set. (Currently using a set of Ram clubs and drivers) Really happy to find Golfbidder, great website and great range of clubs at a good price!
Service was extremely quick and easy, and my club was delivered in just two days! (Price 6.99) The only thing that left me disappointed was the rating system for the condition of the club. Mine was: Head - 7, Shaft - 7, and Grip - 7. Well the Grip and Shaft are in perfect condition, so they could be even higher than a 7.
But the Head, was not a 7, and i would rate it according to their rating guide at a 6 at best. The head had some chips, loads of scratches and marks all over it. This being said is only superficial and doesn't affect the function of the club, which is great by the way. It just took the shine off the purchase i was so happy to make, and after spending hours looking at all the different models, the one i'd chosen wasn't quite as good as i thought it would be, so ordering in the future will be a bit of a guessing game. The club has great length and has added at least 30 yards in the first couple of weeks, i hit straight now, my swing feels more natural due to the weight and shape of the head.
I love the white colour and surprisingly it feels easier to hit with. I will play around with the loft and fade/draw settings over the coming weeks, but really finding the neutral setting to have the sweet spot. I'd recommend this club to anyone, and at that price although a few years old - it's a bargain! This is the manufacturer's Recommend Retail Price (RRP).
With single clubs (driver, fairways, hybrids, etc.) it is easy to see the saving you're making. However things are a little more complicated if you're looking at a set of irons. At model level (when browsing all the sets of a particular model) the RRP displayed is for an 8 iron set - usually 3-PW or 4-SW - with steel shafts. At lot level (when you're looking at a unique set of irons) the RRP may have changed. This is so we can show you the relative RRP of that particular set.
You could be looking at a set comprised of 5-PW (6 irons) so we have calculated and adjusted the RRP accordingly. We have also taken steel or graphite shafts in to consideration at this level. Graphite shafts are more expensive and you'll see this reflected in the RRP displayed.
Steam, you know, like the biggest online PC gaming website ever, ever. Civ 5 product code generator. Its a great game that simple. The online game code does not take you to some obscure website, its Steam. Pros: Its civilization. My main reason for this post is to clarify the negative review for the website 'hosting' this game.
TaylorMade are partial to the odd driver launch so when even their excitement about the M1 driver results in their first global media launch event for over a decade, then it is time to get enthusiastic too. The M1 is different, but not necessarily new, as the materials used are tried and trusted.
However the combination of materials and how they are integrated into the existing TaylorMade philosophies is what makes the M1 driver unique. Tried and trusted method #1 is making the crown lighter so you can move weight and hence the lower in the sole to improve the launch conditions. TaylorMade has used carbon composite in the crown of the M1 to achieve this and it also has the added benefit of the carbon fibre lattice pattern giving the back of the driver a great look.
This is tried and trusted technology #2 and when I asked Chief Technical Officer Benoit Vincent why it took them so long to use a material that has been around for over 30 years, he said that they had been testing it regularly over that time and their advances with titanium meant that carbon could not outperform it. Cost and manufacturing capabilities probably also had an influence, but now that it is here we should rejoice as it not only gives a great look, but also a great sound at impact. The crown also features a white titanium front section just to keep the white and black camps happy, although it is interesting to note that TaylorMade are not ruling out an all black version yet.
