Sims 3 Awesome Mod Download

So its been a while since i played the Sims3. I think it was sometime in 2013.anyway, I just reloaded the game the other day and got a message that Awesome mod was out of date. So, i downloaded the new one and went to that site where you can generate the config file and put it in my Sims 3 folder.but.it seems like it isn't reading. None of my configs are coming over and I dont see any of the awesommod options in-game. Is it still working?

Am I just not doing it right? Its in my Sims3/mods/package folder (where the old one was).
