One of the very last tube powered Echoplex's made. According to the service manuals the EP-3 started at serial number 9068 and this is number 9054. Produces full echoes and the tubes give a little extra drive making it an excellent preamp. The unit shows some wear from being around 50 years old. Some of the edges of the tolex are coming a little loose and the chrome parts no longer shine like they used to. The knobs are replacement and the pilot light is missing.

Much of the amp is still original, like the caps and 2 prong power cord, both of which I would probably get replaced. The echoes are a bit warbly, probably due to old tape, and it won't do the 'infinite echo', I'm guessing due to older caps, tubes and tape. Blacx thermaltake driver windows 8.

Overall it's a very cool piece of vintage gear that has a sound that newer pedals have trouble re-creating.
