Colt Ar Serial Numbers
Enter the serial number, without spaces or dashes, to search the database. If multiple models appear for your serial number simply match the date with the appropriate model, as certain vintage firearms can share serial numbers between different models. The LBDXXXXX serial number was designated for the Colt AR-15A3 Tactical Carbine (AR6721) post ban. Pre-ban version had the BDXXXXXX serial numbers. (there less than 200 of those released).

You may spend a lot of money fixing things that weren't broken to begin with. Shoot at least 500 rounds through it first, then decide what you don't like and want to improve. Regarding vintage 1911s, pre-1970 pistols are highly collectible in original, unaltered condition and should NEVER be refinished or modified as it completely ruins their monetary value. As time goes on the system will get better. We get hundreds of phone calls every day asking 'when was my gun made'. We needed to do something to slow the volume of calls so we can give better service and faster answer times. It is a work in progress.
Brent Brent, I am sure with a few million records to enter, it takes some resources to complete. Payday 2 dlc download. The effort is not in vain and I hope it relives some workload for your staff.
Thanks again to whom ever got this task through management. It has worked for me and I am happy. Most of the Colt 1911s I own are not in there yet. Of the ones that are there are differences from what Colt told me on the phone and what is in the online lookup database. A GCNM Enhanced I was told was made in 1996 comes up being made in 1995. I got this almost new in the box with all the papers.
Darkrp download. I can see a gun being made in 1995 and being in the supply line and then sold in 1996. The one I found that bothers me is a GCNM in SS that Colt told me on the phone was made in 1988 but on the lookup tool it comes up 1995. Now aside from Colt telling me on the phone it was made in 1988 the friend I bought it from remembers getting it from his Son for Christmas of 1988. Unfortunately he threw out the box and paperwork years ago. It also has a collet barrel bushing, and I do not think Colt was using them anymore in 1995. The front of the frame is grooved, and, again I do not think Colt was doing that in 1995.
Not huge, but hopefully Colt is double checking the data they put into the tool. I certainly pulled that SS GCNM out and double checked the SN on the frame.
Again guys, a work in progress. The system should be using the same info as the customer service reps use to look up the serial numbers. I do have a question, what is your main reason for looking up the date of manufacture on your gun? Brent This will be helpful when it gets to working. If selling a gun it's nice to be able to say when it was manufactured(and know your dates are accurate). If you buy a NIB gun in the mid-'80s and the gun was made in the mid'70s I just think it is a good thing to know.
It might save a bunch of phone calls and internet work if the manufacturing date was included with the paperwork/box. __________________ Avoid the temptation to replace everything on your brand-new 1911 just to make it 'better'.
